Ask all consultants you interview for a copy of their educational resume or curriculum vitae. Be extremely careful with those who share only a "bio or biography" of themselves. Pretty words can't compare with a hard, fast education no matter the feng shui method practiced. As much as I hate to say it - there is an increasing number of people professing to be "Professional Feng Shui Consultants" without the education to do so. Would you hire a doctor, lawyer or other professional who refused to answer questions regarding their schooling? I think not! It is up to you to make sure you hire a qualified consultant by asking: 1) To see a copy of their certificate 2) Contacting the school or instructor to verify its authenticity 3) Saying "No Thank You" if your requests are refused. |

**'Original' Traditional Feng Shui Program
The Feng Shui Academé of Seattle and Arizona, Charlene Weaver, Director, is dedicated to providing quality training in the art and science of Feng Shui from the perspective of Black Sect Tantric Buddhism. Traditionally an orally communicated art, the Academé continues this tradition through the use of workshops, lectures and classes presented by various instructors. In addition, the Academé sponsors renowned speakers from around the globe to speak in Seattle. These include HO Lynn Tu, and Seann Xenja.
** New to the Academé is its support of workshops teaching the 'Original' Traditional method of Feng Shui. After nearly 15 years of researching the 'traditional' method we have, at last, located classes which present the 'original', not western, teachings. This in no way negates the teachings of Professor Lin Yun, it simply provides those seeking knowledge of the Traditional method the opportunity to study Feng Shui based on the 'original' teachings of the Masters.
With the ever increasing interest in Feng Shui: The Chinese Art of Placement, there is a need to provide a referral service to those seeking qualified practitioners. The Academé is honored to provide this service.
What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui (fung schway) is the Chinese art of creating harmonious environments. Although there are several different 'methods', they are all based on the idea that the environment governs all living things in the universe. The point of Feng Shui is to harness and enhance environmental chi' to improve the flow of chi' within our bodies, thus improving our life and destiny. Feng Shui is more than the sum of its parts. It evokes in us a new attitude and a new way of viewing our living spaces as an integral part of our total experience.
